Be sure to tune into this interview to find out the many incredible ways Bobbi’s husband, Jack, has come through to let her know, in ways she cannot deny, that it is him coming through from the other side to connect with her. You’re going to find out from this interview where heaven is. Do our deceased loved ones retain their personalities, their wits? It’s just going to change some of your perceptions and confirm others for you.

Grief and Rebirth - Irene Weinberg | Bobbi Rise | Signs From Afterlife

I could not be more delighted to have the pleasure of interviewing author Bobbi Rise, who has dedicated her life to guiding others. Bobbi holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and is certified in Substance Abuse Counseling. She served for two decades as a teacher and fourteen years as a district school counselor. After she and her husband, Jack, retired, she launched a nationally certified life coach business and wrote a book titled Behind the Counselor’s Door: Solutions to the Most Common Middle Schooler’s Problems.

When Bobbi and Jack opened to spirituality and became Reiki masters, Bobbi inspired healing through workshops and motivational speaking. At the age of 65, she went back to school to earn her certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, continuing her mission to help others heal until the pandemic brought that chapter to a close.

Later, as Jack’s health declined, Bobbi took on the role of his caregiver. Following Jack’s passing in 2021, his spirit fulfilled a heartfelt promise by connecting with Bobbi for an entire year. This extraordinary experience inspired Bobbi’s second book, titled You Don’t Know Jack! How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence of Afterlife.

Bobbi continues to inspire people as she speaks about her extraordinary experience with Jack at live events, book signings, and book club discussions, both in person and via Zoom. I can certainly personally relate to Bobbi’s connecting with Jack and writing a book about her experience, as I did with my husband, Saul.

I’m looking forward to talking with Bobbi, who lives in Tampa, Florida, about the many creative ways Jack’s spirit has connected with her. Where is heaven? The concept of death? What inspired Bobbi to write You Don’t Know Jack! How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence of Afterlife and more, for a fascinating and uplifting interview filled with life-changing insights. Bobbi, a truly heartfelt welcome to show.

You Don’t Know Jack!: How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence of Afterlife

Irene, I am so excited to be here. I am beyond excited.

When you reached out to me, your story really touched my heart and hit so many bases that I would love to share you with my audience.

I felt totally connected with you, too. Your joy just emanates. I can feel it. Thank you so much for having me.

Jack’s Promise: Connection From Beyond

My true pleasure. Let’s begin. Let’s have everybody get to know what your story is and the amazing thing that’s happened to you and just turned your life around. Let’s start with your loving relationship with Jack for over 54 years. Tell us about that and share how he promised to connect with you for an entire year after he transitioned. How did that come about?

We met each other when we were 19 and 20 back in the ’60s. It went pretty far back. We always felt like we were the one, the person. He had even said to me one time, “It took a while, but I finally found you.” We felt a connection that was very deep. Throughout an entire 54 years together, it always seemed like there was a bigger purpose than us. We went through times when he was not as religious, having gone to different schools, learned different things, and become very spiritual. The two of us started our journey with energy work. We did a lot together that related to reaching the other side, knowing that we are energy.

There were times when we had discussions about his health that had to do with his diabetes, his problems he had with his heart, his leukemia, he has many issues. The issues that he had made doctors all tell him, “You won’t last forever, so make the most of your time.” Therefore, it spurred these different discussions we had about the afterlife. He always felt that we would be connected this side or that side. It didn’t make a difference. It was a level of the degree of energy that we would share. I kept saying, “How will I know that that’s you? How can I tell?” He said, “I’ll let you know when I get there.”

He was a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning guy, gradually went into technical training, and traveled all over the country. He was very attuned to energy work, electricity, and electronics. He kept saying, “I’ll mess with some, definitely the thermostat. I’m going to start with a thermostat.” That was his promise to me.

I said, “Please don’t turn the power off.” He said, “No, I’m not going to hurt you. I love you. I’ll make it so that you’ll know it has to be me.” That story is just amazing. The very fact that it was a few days after he passed, I’d gone to the thermostat to turn the temperature down at night, and it wouldn’t go down. An error message came up. It would not allow me to change the temperature, but the house was comfortable. I didn’t worry about it.

The second day, it happened again, not in the morning, just in the evening, and the third day, until I called someone. When he came out, he said, “It can’t make sense. You have a perfectly good working thermostat. It’s not supposed to have this error message, and so forth.” There was no doubt in my mind. The antics had started. Thereafter, just item after item, if it was a cable line, if it was the telephone, and he hadn’t stopped, actually, after the first year. It’s still going on, not excessively the way it did the first year.

I guess I could tell you, like with Saul, it tapers off a little bit, but they’re right around you. If you’re calling them, they’re right there.

At any given moment. That’s the one thing that is so comforting. Even though you feel their absence so strongly at first because of the habits, the triggers, and whatnot, after a while, you realize their presence, you share that energy field with them, you’re sharing the same space, and they’re watching over you. Even when I turned this on a little while ago, there was a little message that just said, “Wi-Fi not connecting.” I thought, “Don’t you do that. That would not be funny.” It went right back. It was fixed immediately. It was just like, “I’m with you.”

What's so comforting is that even though their absence is strongly felt at first due to habits and triggers, you eventually realize their presence; you share an energy field and space with them, and they're watching over you. Share on X

Validated By A Medium: Jack’s Unmistakable Messages

He was letting you know. I’m sure he’s very proud of you for what you’re doing. I’m sure of that. I know that you had an amazing reading. In fact, I interviewed her. Her interview will be airing around the same time as yours, from this medium named Gail Lynn. It was this amazing reading that was given to your friend. Jack came through with information that totally blew your mind. This was just transitioned, right?

Exactly. My friend had called me and she said, “You better sit down. I had answered the phone.” This is what she had said. She had answered the phone from a friend who called from the spiritual store, who received somebody who came in and said, “I’d like to practice readings. Is there anyone you know that you could offer up? Let me try it out and see how validated I am.” She offered to do it for her. During the reading, the woman started talking about this man that’s a father figure. This young friend of mine was one of my students many years ago. She was a generation younger than both Jack and me. We both felt like a daughter with her, very close.

As Gail began to relay all the information that Jack wanted to get through to the love of his life, this friend of mine said, “This doesn’t have anything to do with me. I don’t recognize this. This is not my father.” She said, “Bobbi, everything that she said sounds like Jack, his stature, his structure, and she had even written the name Jack on a piece of paper, thinking he was jacked or built. She wasn’t sure how to interpret it.” She then began to share with me all that the medium had told her.

The medium had seen me transplanting a purple plant, saw me going into a drawer and discovering his ring that I was supposed to give to my grandson, saw me in the grocery store looking at a boxed hair coloring kit that I wasn’t sure whether I should color my hair or not. All the things that she had mentioned to that friend were things that had happened to me that she knew nothing about. No one could because I was by myself for all those events. There were four of them in a row. He was watching.

He was right there with you, and he was letting you know.

He was such a funny guy. We were both so very different. I was the pragmatic person, the soft personality.

You grounded him, and he was out there.

He was having a great time in life doing things that I’d always say, “That’s so naughty. You’re not going to be able to get away with it.” That particular day, when I picked up the hair color, there was a thing in my head that just said, “I know he would prefer I go to the beauty parlor and have it done, not do it myself.” For sure, that’s what he said during the reading. He mentioned something about my granddaughter getting married in October, and none of this stuff she even knew.

How could she possibly know any? She didn’t even know him, you, or anything.

The entire reading was just one of validation after validation, and always something that no other person could even know.

After that medium reading, you had another that became a big eye-opener for you. I can relate. Now you’re starting to open to this world. What was that one about?

It’s funny because Gail Lynn has a son that passed, and he had given her many consoling messages prior to the one that I had the reading. While we were doing our readings, she said that her son and my husband were communicating. I said, “I feel like maybe there was more I could have done because I was his caretaker, and I had to do all his food and make certain everything was okay with his heart, his blood sugar, and everything else.”

She said, “My son and Jack together are reminding you that you can’t have regrets over small moments in life. It’s an entire beach of a lifetime that you work through things, you raise each other up, you pick each other up, and you may even have arguments. To go back and look at one grain of sand on that beach like a moment of regret is such a waste of time because it’s the whole beach that matters.”

You can't have regrets over small little moments in life. Share on X

There were different messages that she gave me that were similar to that, that we have a granddaughter that is in touch with that concept of spirit that feels but doesn’t want to say anything because she doesn’t know if she’s crazy. She doesn’t know whether to share it with anybody else and to give her assurance that she’s not crazy and that we are just like in the other room. We’re just a different dimension. We’re right there.

Otherworldly Antics: More Signs From Jack

That’s amazing. I know you talked about the thermostat and a couple of things that he did. Are there any other amazing, no other explanation signs you received from Jack?

They go on and on. One of my favorites, though, I noticed that the cable was not working in my guest bedroom. I had called the cable company, and he came out. He told me it was perfectly fine. I said, “But it wasn’t working.” He said, “It’s working fine now. There’s nothing for me to repair. Do you have any other questions?”

Going back and focusing on one grain of sand on the beach, like a moment of regret, is a waste of time. It's the whole beach that matters. Share on X

I said, “I do have another one. On my television set, up in the upper left-hand corner is caller ID. When somebody calls the house, it shows on the television what the phone number is and the person that’s calling. These past few days, just the past three days in a row, it’s happened over and over again. It’s my number, and the phone’s not ringing. If I pick up the phone, there’s a dial tone. There’s nobody on the phone. The caller ID says my husband is calling, and it’s the phone number to our landline.” He said, “I can’t explain it. If it was a software glitch, then maybe it would be continuing, and it would be within your television, but it stopped.” I said, “It only did it three days, and it did several times each day until it got my attention, and then it stopped.”

That’s his call sign. He does things for a few days in a row to get my attention. Once he’s got it, he can stop because he knows it’s impacted me, just like the feather story. That was a whole another one of having the feather under my mailbox, one big white feather on a Thursday, then again on a Friday, and again on a Saturday. Nothing on a Sunday or Monday, which happened to be a no-mail day, no mail on Sunday, and no mail on the 4th of July. Brought the feathers in, laid them on the counter. There are no other feathers anywhere in the yard. I went to bed that night thinking I needed to take a picture and document all this stuff that was happening.

The next morning, when I got up, 2 of the feathers were there, and 2 were not. Two of them had jumped off, and I looked at my closed-circuit TV and watched the feathers sitting on the counter. What I did was I put the camera on and I backed it up to see when I went to bed, and the four feathers were sitting on the counter just fine. In the middle of the night, two of them popped up and jumped off the counter. I keep everything documented now.

Writing “You Don’t Know Jack”: Sharing The Incredible Story

You’re having all these experiences. The year goes by that he promised you. What brought about your inspiration to write your book, You Don’t Know Jack? What motivated you to do that? Now, you’re still grieving.

I’m still trying hard to change the channel in my head, find the bright side, and be grateful for the memories, knowing that that’s not so easy when that triggered the faucet to run. At a certain point, it occurred to me that if he was making all this effort to talk to me, show me, give me signs from the Christmas tree to the lamp by my reading chair, it was constant over and over, I owed it to him to serve what I thought was our purpose. Our purpose is to tell people they’re not gone. They’re right there. It’s his personality. It’s his memory and his wit. Everything that’s the essence of his being was what was coming through. Sometimes, it’s really comical things that only he would do or messages.

Only you would understand, or you would know, right?

Exactly. There’s no such thing as coincidence when it happens this often and this clearly. On the night of our anniversary, what would have been our first anniversary after he passed, I remember saying to him, “I want to hear from you if I can today, just don’t break anything. Don’t cause the refrigerator to give me ice cubes when I press water,” because those are the kind of antics that he would do. I went into his den to get a stamp for a letter I’d written. I noticed the telephone, the little LCD light on the remote phone lit up. It was not ringing. I went to look in the other room to see if that was lit up. It wasn’t. It was just in his den.

As I turned around, I noticed that the printer’s LCD light also came on. The alarm went off in the house, saying that there was a window that was cracked open. I went right to the window in the den. The window was fine. The printer was fine. The phone was fine. There were three things all at the same moment of my just saying, “Can you give me a sign?” I thought, “Happy anniversary, honey. This is absolutely amazing. I know in my heart you are here.”

I want to inject an experience I had with our audience because you’re reminding me. My husband was a big football fan. He would always religiously watch Monday Night Football. Of course, when I was grieving and going through the accident, he passed in December, football was still going on Monday Night Football. I would be at my desk, and magically, my TV would go on for Monday Night Football for fifteen minutes and then turn off.

That was Saul’s way of saying, “Honey, I’m here.” There was no explanation. You had an old knob that you pulled out. There was no remote. There was nothing on that TV. There was no end here. For Monday Night Football, of course, exactly at 9:00, I’d be sitting there, and all of a sudden, there we go.

That’s what I love about the messages. They’re so synchronistic. They match exactly with something you remember that they would do. I remember him one time telling me we have a three-way light bulb and a reading lamp by my chair. I said, “How does that work? It’s 175/50.” He said, “Don’t worry about it. The filaments are all figured out.” I remember sitting after one of my string of Christmas lights did not go on, suddenly came on, and then suddenly went off. It was not just flickering like it was broken. The lamp alongside my chair went very low and stayed very low like a 10-watt light, went up, went down, and then went out. I thought, “He’s at it again. He’s playing with me.”

Consciousness Continues: What Bobbi Learned About The Afterlife

I could see him smiling on the other side. He’s saying, “Okay, I’ll let her know. Here I go.” What have you learned from all that you’ve done? I know that you have a chapter that says we go on and that our consciousness continues eternally. Bobbi, what would you like to tell everyone about what you’ve learned from all that you’ve been through with this?

I think the most important thing is, like I said, he was the lesson to me that we are not just here for the physical, and then we end. We don’t end. We go on. It’s infinite. We are part of this universe. It’s a huge expanse of energy, and we are energy. That was another thing he felt very strongly about. When you look at Albert Einstein’s words that matter is really in quantum physics, we are energy nuggets, our whole body. Our brain may not be able to understand the magnificence and the divine of all that’s out there, but it is infinite. It is all one, and we are all contained in each other’s energy fields. There can be no surprise. I personally am not afraid of death.

I don’t want to do the dying part, and I will miss people in the physical, but I’ve promised them all I’ll be around. I’ll be over your shoulder. I’ll be paying attention. I’m not going to change the course of your journey because your soul has to go through your journey and your lessons. The love will always be there. I do believe that you’re done with your ego. You’re done with making points, trying to prove anything, or judging others. You are simply love crossed over to the other side, which is expansive and magnificent. Even Jack said in one of his readings, I said, “What’s it like?” He said, “I can’t tell you with your limited ability, but you’ll know when you get there.” I just love that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he brings you over.

That was one of the messages, also. “I’ll be there. I’ll be ready for you.”

Saul has said that to me, too. I know that you quiet your mind to receive his messages now. How do you do that? A lot of people reading this might like to be able to quiet their minds to hear from their deceased loved one. How do you discern when things are coming through to you, your thoughts from Jack’s thoughts? How does that work for you?

For me, it’s very easy, not easy to discern, but there’s a telltale evidence of it, him, and being not me. We thought so differently. He always had that sarcastic little edge to him that would say things in a blunt way and make a whole room burst out laughing. I don’t think like that. I’m that person that puts things in a peaceful place and makes it palatable and whatnot. He was never like that.

The day that the book got published, I broke down, and I was crying, saying, “I wish you were here. I would love to hug you and celebrate this moment.” In my head, just as strong as it could be, he said, “I died so we could have a book.” I thought I wouldn’t have been thinking that myself. That’s for sure. Those are the short little clips I get every now and then. The quieting of the mind is getting out of the need. It seems like when I get needy, I don’t get an answer as quickly because there’s too much emotion built into it.

It acts as a block, right?

Yes, it really does. When I get very comfortable and quiet and in any kind of higher energy modality where I’m feeling gratitude, love, or at peace, whenever I’m in those happy thoughts, I feel the entry of him and his happy thoughts. When I feel sad, I find that it’s almost as if not that I push him away, but he feels so badly that I’m feeling badly. He doesn’t know what to do except play with a light, a stove, or something like that. It’s not easy to discern. I think if I stay in an upbeat, calm, quiet place, it’s more likely.

You literally sit down and you calm yourself down, right? You try to redirect your thoughts and focus on something that brings you joy.

Exactly. In fact, one time, I went out and I wanted to write. I wanted to receive his information in my mind. I realized what I was writing was what I would have expected him to say. I wasn’t quieted. I went back outside and I sat in the chairs where we used to enjoy the sunset. I just sat there peacefully with the sun warming my face, saying, “I know you’re here with me. I know I can feel your presence. I know you love the sunset as much as I do. The fact that we can share it now is so overwhelmingly joyful. I’m in such a peaceful place. Tell me what you think I need to do when it comes to the book.” He said, “Whoever needs it will find it.” I thought, “I’m waiting for my list. I’m in a whole other direction.” He was very calm. “Don’t worry. Whoever needs it will find it.”

Heaven Is Love: Living Without Fear

You’re on the show to help a lot of people who would like to read this to find it. Share with our readers what you’ve learned about the location of heaven, the concept of death, and living from love instead of from fear.

That’s the big thing. I think we were learning that as we were together, jointly doing our spiritual journey. In his mind, when he was growing up and told me this when we were first married, he said, “My concept of heaven is the knowledge of what I’ve done right and good for other people and the earth. What I’ve given back will replenish me with that good energy of knowing I’ve done well in this lifetime. When it comes to suffering, it’s because I’ve done things that were not right. That’s the kind of thing that will not give me my heaven on the other side. On the other side, heaven is living in that beautiful envelope of love that we all share in that oneness.

All of us have the wherewithal to be able to do that in our lifetime so that on the other side, we’re experiencing the rewards. I really do believe in that. It’s not about the ego. If you’re here from 0 to 100 or 0 to 20, or whatever the lifetime is, during that time period, you have the opportunity to feel the joy that radiates. It’s an energetic experience that you share with others. It’s not even that you’re giving people presents so that they’re happy or doing things so that you’re getting a list of do-gooder points. It’s a matter of emanating the feeling of love, caring, and compassion to other human beings while we’re here.

Heaven is living in that beautiful envelope of love that we all share in Oneness. We all have the wherewithal to do that in our lifetime; it's a matter of emanating the feeling of love, caring, and compassion to other human beings while we're here. Share on X

That is definitely the definition of heaven. I’ve always felt heaven is living love, life, and kindness as a behavior to people, not just doling it out every so often.

It’s putting the cart back, smiling at your neighbor, and wishing people well. It’s just your way.

Being conscious that there is more, and we get a life review on the other side. Maybe you want to cross over and get an A+ or an A-.

When I was a teacher, I did some guidance classes, too, as a school counselor. I would sit with the little ones and say, “What would you like to be remembered for when you’re a grandma someday and your grandchildren are sitting on your lap and you’re telling them about your life?” I want to be able to run really fast. I want to get straight A’s. I want to be rich. I want to be famous.

I’ll never forget one little girl said, “Mrs. Rise, what do you want to be?” I said, “I’d like to be remembered for having been kind. I think that’ll be my goal at the end of my life.” Years later, because I had many years with these children, as they got up into the eighth grade and were older, many would say, “I’d like to be remembered in a way that people thought I was a really good person.” I thought, “Isn’t that what it’s about?”

Look at how you inspired them. Did you address living from love instead of from fear?

The fear is the opposite of love. When I would talk to the kids about that, I say, “You do know that when you’re afraid of something, you can’t love it at the same time because you’re ducking, you’re running away, you’re avoiding it, and you’re trying not to give it any energy. In fact, it’s a matter of peace that you find in your heart using love toward other people.” I witnessed that in my own family because my mom was a paranoid schizophrenic, and her fear disenabled her from being able to embrace everybody around her because she was always so worried about everything. I got to witness that and realize that there weren’t a lot of strong connections between her and other people. That was not going to be my life. Sometimes, we learn.

When you're afraid of something, you can't love it at the same time. Share on X

How fortunate she was to have a child with your disposition, considering her issues there.

She was so fortunate. Even on the other side now, I look at her and think of her as having had a tough experience. I can’t hold it against her because, certainly, I wouldn’t have asked for it. Neither would she have. You find the peace and the love in your life, and it’s a conscious decision. Happiness is a choice.

Happiness is a conscious decision. It is a choice. Share on X

That’s beautiful. With all the chagrin that you grew up with, you chose still to live in love. No wonder he found you when you were such a young kid.

We both found each other for sure. I feel like we had a destiny, a legacy that was to be followed and reached.

You’re still doing it. It’s wonderful. I know you’ve had some really great experiences with book club discussion groups. I’m sure a lot of people come to these discussion groups saying, “Is this real?” They come as skeptics. They’re going to humor you. Tell us about some of your interesting experiences.

I’ve done several of them and all of them, I have to say, everyone that was there had read the book and started off by saying, “Even though I may or may not understand what you’ve been through, I believe you believe it. I believe you lived it. You’ve given me so much evidence that I can’t deny it. What you’ve done is you’ve changed me from being skeptical to being able to ponder this more now.” Other people were blown away and started admitting that their grandmother had visited them, their wife, their husband, or whatever.

That’s when I began to realize that within the group, the people there that were giving their experiences as well, shared enough so that everybody, by the time we were done, we’re all in that place of, “I have to give it this consideration. I really do because it’s too hard to deny all that you have experienced.” I feel good about the book club meetings. I really do.

You’re opening people’s minds.

The whole point is to say, “I can tell you, Jack has come back. Open your mind. It can happen.” If you’re aware, you can’t just name a red cardinal your spouse. I know that that’s not going to sit well with many people, but the fact that your attention was drawn it, for whatever reason. Be open to whatever could be the way that it happens. That’s why I named it You Don’t Know Jack! Actually, Jack named it.

I’m not surprised at that at all.

In the middle of the night, I woke up with that saying, and I thought, “Okay, thank you.” That has been our book for sure.

What is your message about the importance of healing? You’ve done so much. You have so much experience in education and continued healing with this experience and all. Why should people heal however they can, which takes courage and can face a lot of pain at times?

It can be very challenging. I did counseling for many years. When I fell into hypnotherapy, I realized how deeply seated our wounds can become. They sit in the subconscious. They create the foundation for our reactions to things. The beliefs can cause our emotions. It’s so deeply rooted and impactful on our immune system and everyone else we contact, the domino effect. The more I realized that people carry with them the burdens, the weight, the more negative they are, the unhealthier they are physically.

To me, you can’t improve upon life when you sit with what’s heavy and negative. You have to find ways of changing the channel, looking for the good, probably the biggest one is having gratitude for what we have, because that’s a channel changer right there. We can always focus on what we’re missing and don’t have, but when you look at all that we do have and feel grateful each day for what you’ve been given, you just can’t beat that. That’s deliberately finding the joy, giving the joy, and living in that element. That energy level, to me, is vital.

When I feel, and I often do, great gratitude, I find it very uplifting. It uplifts my vibration also.

That’s exactly how I feel, too, even if I’m out walking, and I’m thinking to myself how lucky I am that I can be out walking, just little things at this age.

Sometimes, when these negative thoughts come into your mind, you could consciously say, “I got to change the channel of what’s going on over here. Let me think about something uplifting, like gratitude or whatever that I can change this to.”

When negativity creeps into your mind, consciously change the channel. Shift your focus to something uplifting, like gratitude. Share on X

Here’s the thing I’ve been learning so much more about. Everything we experience comes from a thought, and the thoughts can be changed. We can let them pass through. We can change them into a different thought. It’s just a thought. We make it up. Most of the time, we create thoughts from historical experiences. We’ve had something in our chronology that is saying, “Be careful or watch out.” It’s just a thought. As quickly as it can be gone, you can be happy. Controlling the thoughts may not be easy, but getting rid of the bad ones and moving to positive is perfect.

I’ve heard the expression, “Don’t believe everything you think.”

That was a sign that was on my desk at school when I worked in the school system. It was a big sign that said, “Don’t believe everything you think.” The kids would come in and say, “What does this mean?” I’d say, “Let’s talk about it a little bit. What are you thinking? What’s the truth in that? What’s the reality? Did you make it up?”

Is it bringing you down, or is it lifting you up? That’s great, Bobbi. You’ve had such a rich experience as an educator that has also informed what you’re doing. I’m wondering, now that everyone would like to buy You Don’t Know Jack!, do you have a special offer for our audience?

Bobbi’s Joy Tip: Spreading Smiles & Gratitude

The one thing that I did in addition, speaking of thoughts, was a lot of meditations. I’ve had them recorded, and I have them online. If there’s somebody that is buying my book to know more about that, I’d be happy to give them a meditation. I would do it digitally if they go on my BobbiRise.com website.

That’s wonderful. I’ve got to ask, what is the Bobbi Rise tip for finding joy in life?

To be honest with you, every time you do something that makes another person smile, it’s the gratitude that you’re feeling in your heart that you give out to other people. I started with different ways of doing it. One of them is that I have a hobby of finding palm fronds because I live in Florida, and I paint them. They’re just whimsical. I give them out to people because I love to watch people smile. It’s a feel-good. I’ve done that. I’ve worked with different groups of people to help them find their joy. Helping them find their joy is what gives me joy.

Did you want to show us some of those palm fronds? Would you like to turn us around and show us some of your palm fronds?

I keep them outside in what my husband used to call the man cave.

I see them. How pretty.

Just different ones, different holidays, just to be whimsical. A lot of times, I just drop them off at my neighbor’s door, and they know exactly who it is.

Bobbi’s been here with her palm fronds.

My fronds wish everyone a happy holiday.

That’s so lovely. Your neighbors are very fortunate to have you there. I’d like to highlight this very wise and transformative quote from your book, You Don’t Know Jack!, for our audience. “I believe that when I am on the other side, I will be able to have clarity on the effects of all I’ve done here while in the physical body, both good and bad. Jack’s messages have made it clear. You remember the past you have accumulated. He shared it’s all love. He’s encouraged me to believe it is only right now that it is beyond my imagination or ability to understand. I will when I get there, and since energy cannot be destroyed, it’s eternal, so we’re eternal.”

“Again, I can’t wrap my head around that, but it means to me that my life here must be just a blip in the infinite scheme of things. Looking at the difference Jack made while he was here, I would like to be a better person, too, to come from a place of love and acceptance, avoid living in the past or in the future, and make a difference in the lives of others in the attempt to leave this place better for having been here.” Bobbi, thank you from my heart for this wonderful, uplifting interview filled with life-changing insights. We can now definitely say, “To be continued.”

About Bobbi Rise

Grief and Rebirth - Irene Weinberg | Bobbi Rise | Signs From AfterlifeI grew up in NJ & went to Ohio University where I met my husband, Jack. We married, moved back to NJ, and raised our 2 daughters there. I was a teacher for 20 years adding various teaching certificates along the way. I was the district school counselor for 14 years after getting my Masters Degree in school counseling and certified in substance abuse counseling. My husband had his own business as a technical trainer in the HVAC industry. After I retired, I started a Nationally Certified Life Coach business and we moved to Florida. There, I wrote a book for graduate students, parents, and teachers on school counseling called “Behind the Counselor’s Door: Solutions to the Most Common Middle Schooler’s Problems.” My husband and I also grew to understand our spiritual journeys and became Reiki Masters. I gave workshops and did inspirational public speaking to help people heal.

At age 65, I went back to school and became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, again, to help people heal, and started that business for the next few years until Covid brought it to an end. I also had several meditation recordings made to help people heal. My husband’s health was failing which required me to become a caretaker changing my role entirely. He passed away on December 12th, 2021 and, because of his Spirit connecting with me for a full year exactly as he promised he would before he passed, I wrote a book telling those stories and hoping they would give others the comfort they had given me. It’s called “You Don’t Know Jack! :How Antics from My Late Husband’s Spirit Give Undeniable Evidence of Afterlife.” Now I speak to gatherings, book signings, and book club discussion groups, both live and by Zoom.
